It's BIG......Reallllly BIG!!!

Even BIGGER than last year!
(And, As always, NonProfit)

For that reason we've moved the venue to:

DoubleTree By Hilton
Paradise Valley - Scottsdale
5401 N. Scottsdale Road

Scottsdale, AZ 85250

Where we will now have over 12,000 square feet of event space!
We're also taking all the excellent comments and suggestions from our GF Expo-2011 guests
into consideration as we fine tune 2012 expo plans. SO - Save this date on your 2012

Tell me more....

We are CDF: Greater Phoenix Chapter. The mission of our group is to offer support and promote Celiac awareness.  In keeping with our mission, our support group is planning another fantastic Phoenix Gluten-Free Expo. Save the date! The purpose of this event is to present the community with opportunities to learn about celiac disease, as well as available gluten-free goods, services and literature.

Last year's Phoenix Gluten-Free Expo event welcomed close to 1200 guests and participation of over 50 vendors. The 2012 event will, surely, prove to be even more fantastic! A larger area and more vendor tables are in the plan. Items and information will be on display and also available for purchase.  All these products and/or services must, in some way, be related to the gluten-free lifestyle. The Expo will, again, include a raffle and silent auction.

As a chapter of the Celiac Disease Foundation, our support group is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.  All proceeds from the event, raffle, and silent auction will go to further community awareness of celiac disease. Please be aware that CDF: Greater Phoeix Chapter does not endorseproducts/services on display, but is making information and items available under one roof for the convenience of the celiac community.

School Nurse Awareness Program
in the Greater Phoenix Area

Are you a school nurse? Do you see the same student in your health office day after day? Is the complaint always the same?  Is this child a “frequent flyer” just trying to get out of class or is there a medical explanation that has not, yet, been diagnosed.  The fact of the matter is - the school nurse is on the front line when it comes to recognizing a child who may have celiac disease, a potentially life threatening condition.

CDF: Greater Phoenix Chapter is available to school districts in the Greater Phoenix area with a presentation that educates nurses on celiac disease, how to recognize it and how schools can accommodate students already diagnosed with the condition. Help your school nurses to learn more about celiac disease by paraticipating in this program.

Our Mission Statement

The mission of CDF: Greater Phoenix Chapter is to offer support and education to both those newly diagnosed and those currently maintaining a gluten free lifestyle. CDF: Greater Phoenix Chapter also strives for general public awareness of the Celiac condition and to provide the medical community with a greater understanding of the needs of Celiac patients.

Welcome to PhoenixCeliac, which is the official website for the non-profit CDF: Greater Phoenix Chapter. The purpose of this site is to provide you with information about our support group and gluten-free Phoenix information. In addition, it provides for you some general gf lifestyle information, resources and links.

We hope this information will help to make living the gluten free lifestyle easier for both our newly diagnosed and veteran Celiac friends as well as those who are visiting Phoenix. The Valley of the Sun is a wonderful place to live and visit, so enjoying the area “gluten-free” should be a fun and easy thing to do.

Please be aware, however, that there is no warranty on this information and no liability is assumed by the webmaster, list owner, Celiac Disease Foundation, or any individuals affiliated with CDF: Greater Phoenix Chapter for the recommendations, information, dietary suggestions, menus, and recipes which are shared. Questions of a medical nature should be directed to your personal physician. The mention of products does not signify our endorsement.

CDF: Greater Phoenix Chapter is dedicated to helping celiacs adjust to a gluten-free lifestyle in a non-gluten-free dedicated world.  For this reason, we do not make it a practice of serving items from solely gf-dedicated facilities at our gatherings. As always, it’s the responsibility of individuals to educate themselves in order to make the choice that works best for them when deciding whether or not to partake in the refreshments offered.

When you come right down to it, we’re just people helping people and hope you can somehow benefit from the information we share with you. So, welcome to our site! Take a little "walkabout" and see what you might find that may help you.
Thank you.
